Jack Knife & The Sharps

Jack Knife

Jack Knife and the Sharps - the longest running rockabilly band in history!  Established in 1833 by Ric Hollister, this band is older than dirt, more durable than hemp rope.

Can you feel the wind in your hair; are your feet tapping yet?   Rockabilly at it’s best!! Their first, self titled, CD brought rave reviews.  Their follow up “Ace Café”, which was done in the memory of the English Café Racers who traveled on their motorcycles from pub to pub in the late fifties and sixties is sure to have you feeling the call of the wild, being filled with loads of Rockabily, country, and swing.   Hot Rocket was their 3rd release, which has been followed up by the release of Rumble, and they just keep getting better.  Jack Knife has always been known for his great live show, and has been filling houses wherever he plays.  Most recently he has become a regular on Garrison Keillor’s  “Prairie Home Companion” and has been touring worldwide playing for our troops.
